Laramie is hosting its first American Legion Baseball State Tournament since 2004. All the games are played at Cowboy Field.

The start of the Class A Championship tournament was postponed a day because of too much rain in Laramie on Tuesday and Tuesday night. It lasted most of Wednesday, as well. Even the opening ceremonies barbecue had to be moved indoors to Laramie High School.

The host, Laramie Rangers, are the defending state champions.
