3 Champions from Casper in Day 1 of State H.S. Track Meet

The Casper high schools produced 3 state champions on the opening day of the State High School Track Meet at Kelly Walsh H.S. Natrona's Chase Anderson won the 4A Boys long jump going 23-03.25. Kelly Walsh's Marcus Nolan finished 4th going 21-06.25. In the 4A Boys 3200 meter run, KW's Hunter Davila repeated as the state champion of this event, winning in 9.31.20. Natrona sophomore Molly Olsen was the surprise winner of the 4A Girls 3200, edging pre-race favorite  Sydney Wendt of Gillette. Olsen helped the Fillies to a 2nd place finish in the 4x800 meter relay.
