3 Local Coaches Earn COY Awards

Two coaches from Natrona County high school earned winter Coach of the Year awards handed out by the Wyoming Coaches Association. Boy's basketball coach Shawn Gillum was named the 4A coach of the year after the Mustangs beat Gillette for the state championship back in March.  Boy's track coach Rosie Brown was named the indoor track coach of the year. His Mustangs are also the defending 4A champions in outdoor track. Bridger Miller of Kelly Walsh was named the 4A boys swimming coach of the year after the Trojans won the state championship earlier this year.
