American Legion Baseball teams across the state begin post season action today. The Casper Oilers will play in the North District Tournament in Gillette.

The Oilers will play Cody this afternoon at 4pm. Casper comes in at 26-33. The top four teams in this tournament will advance to the state tournament in Cheyenne next week. The American Legion State Class "B" Tournament opens today in Casper. The Casper Drillers will meet Northeast at 7pm at Mike Lansing Field. The Casper Cannons will take on Laramie at 4pm this afternoon.

In Pioneer League action, the Casper Ghosts who had last night off are in Missoula to start a four game series. The Ghosts are 9-20 having lost their last two at home against Helena.

In Major League Baseball, The Colorado Rockies beat the Atlanta Braves 3-2, Carlos Gonzales singled in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning. The Rockies have won two in a row and host Atlanta this afternoon.

The Wyoming Coaches Association All-Star week continues. The golfers started on Wednesday and will wrap up thier play today. The volleyball match, girls and boys basketball games will be played on Saturday at Swede Erickson Gym at Casper College. The volleyball match is at 2:00pm followed by the girls game at 4:00 and the boys game at 6:00pm. This matches up the best of Wyoming's graduating seniors.

The Wyoming High School Coaches Association guest speaker tomorrow will be wrestling legend Dan Gable.

The National High School Finals Rodeo continued with the second go-around in Gillette. The first go-around concluded on Wednesday morning. Colton Miller of Lance Creek won the go in the Saddle Bronc with an 84. In the Bareback, Neil Williams of Mills and Seth Coursen of Evansville tied for 12th with a 69. The National High School Finals continues the rest of the week at the Cam-Plex in Gillette.
