Derrious Gilmore scored a career-high 19 points and Leonard Washington added 16 points, as the Wyoming Cowboys won their 2012-2013 season debut, 62-42, over the Western State Colorado Mountaineers. UW took control of the game as they held the Mountaineers without a point for an 8:34 stretch

Chaundra Sewell scored 22 points, Ashley Sickles had 17 points and Kayla Woodward added 14 points, as the Wyoming Cowgirls rolled past the Idaho Vandals 86-53 in the season opener for both teams at the Arena-Auditorium Friday night. UW shot 50.8 percent

The six UW games include the Colorado at Wyoming match-up on December 1st and five games in the conference.
Cowgirls Cruise Past Regis, 76-45, in Second Exhibition Win

A 19-1 run to end the first half helped the Wyoming Cowgirls to an easy 76-45 victory over the Regis Rangers in exhibition action Monday night at the Arena-Auditorium. Senior Ashley Sickles scored 17 points, on 7-of-14 shooting, grabbed 4 rebounds and had 3 steals to lead UW.

A fourth straight win in the Border War for the Wyoming Cowboys came on the strength of a couple of great performances by Brett Smith and Blair Burns. For their efforts, they were recognized Monday as the Mountain West Conference Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week.
Wyoming Cowboys Win 4th Straight Border War
Brett Smith threw for 235 yards and 4 touchdowns, ran for another, and the Wyoming Cowboys won the 104th edition of the Border War over rival Colorado State 45-31
Cowboy Basketball Takes Second Exhibition, 61-46

Larry Nance, Jr. scored 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Luke Martinez scored 11 points and Josh Adams added 10, as the Wyoming Cowboys won their second exhibition game 61-46 over the College of Wooster at the Arena-Auditorium Saturday night. A 20-6 run over a nine minute span of the second half keyed the UW victory.
Bulldogs Bulldoze Wyoming Cowboys, 42-14
The Fresno State Bulldogs exploded for four touchdowns in about a nine minute span of the first half and rolled past the Wyoming Cowboys 42-14 Saturday night in Fresno, California.
