UNDATED (AP) — The St. Louis Blues failed to score a goal during 65 minutes of hockey on Tuesday, but they still increased their lead in the NHL's Western Conference.

Ryan Miller stopped 31 shots and the Blues moved three points ahead of second-place Anaheim by downing Philadelphia 1-0. Miller earned his 29th shutout of the season and stopped the Flyers' two shootout attempts.

T.J. Oshie (OH'-shee) and Kevin Shattenkirk provided the shootout goals for the Blues, who are one point behind Boston for the NHL's overall lead with seven games remaining.

San Jose is still within four points of St. Louis after Brent Burns and Patrick Marleau scored 1:56 apart midway through the third period to lift the Sharks past Edmonton 5-4. The Oilers lost despite Ryan Nugent-Hopkins' two goals and two assists.

- Rookie Elias Lindholm scored twice and Anton Khudobin (koo-DOH'-bihn) stopped 30 shots as Carolina whipped the Penguins 4-1, preventing the Pens from clinching the Metropolitan Division crown. Chris Kunitz (KOO'-nihts) scored his 35th goal to give Pittsburgh an early lead, and Sidney Crosby picked up his league-high 100th point.

- Henrik Lundqvist stopped 34 shots and the New York Rangers scored twice on special teams to beat the Canucks 3-1 in Vancouver. Benoit Pouliot (POO'-lee-aht) scored the eventual game-winner on a power play and Martin St. Louis (mahr-TAN' san loo-EE') added a short-handed goal midway through the third period.

- Tyler Johnson's short-handed goal broke a 1-1 tie with 7:19 left in Tampa Bay's 3-1 win over Montreal. Ben Bishop made 25 saves as the Lightning ended the Canadiens' five-game winning streak.

- Toronto's eight-game losing streak is over after Dave Bolland and David Clarkson scored 3 ½ minutes apart to give the Maple Leafs a 3-1 lead early in the third period of a 3-2 victory over Calgary. Jonathan Bernier stopped 22 shots to help the Leafs get within one point of Columbus for the eighth and final Eastern Conference playoff berth.

- The Blue Jackets blew a 2-0 lead in the third period and lost 3-2 to Colorado in overtime. Gabriel Landeskog (LAN'-dehs-kahg) was the offensive star, scoring the equalizer with 4:57 left in regulation and the game-winner at 4:27 of overtime.

- Dustin Jeffrey scored twice and Tyler Seguin (SAY'-gihn) notched his 33rd goal of the season as Dallas blew out the Capitals 5-0 in Washington, dropping the Caps two points out of a playoff berth. Kari Lehtonen (KAH'-ree LEH'-toh-nehn) made 35 saves for his fourth shutout of the season.

- Andrew Ladd provided Winnipeg's scoring and Ondrej Pavelec (AHN'-dray PAV'-uh-lehk) handled 29 shots in Winnipeg's 2-1 shootout win against Phoenix. Ladd tallied midway through the first period and scored the lone shootout goal as the Jets put the Coyotes in a tie with Dallas for the final Western Conference playoff spot.

- Tyler Ennis scored twice in the third period and once in a shootout as Buffalo nipped New Jersey 3-2. Ville Leino (VIHL'-ay LAY'-noh) won it by beating Cory Schneider in the ninth shootout round.

- Josh Bailey had a goal and an assist in the New York Islanders' 4-2 win against Florida. Evgeni Nabokov made 20 saves as the Isles improved to 4-0-1 in their last five games.
