Cheyenne East uber athlete Tevis Bartlett has verbally committed to play football at the University of Washington. Bartlet played on both sides of the ball for east this past season and is a 3 time all state selection. On offense at the quarterback spot, he ran the ball for 1081 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also threw for 1179 yards and 9 TD's. On defense, he made 46 tackles from the safety spot with 1 interception. Bartlett is also an all state wrestler. He visited numerous Division 1 schools including, Wyoming, Utah., Colorado and Oregon before settling on Washington. The Huskies went 8-5 this season and are coached by Chris Petersen, formerly of Boise State.
