Blinn Wins JUCO Volleyball Championship.

Blinn College from Brenham, Texas won the Junior College National Championship in volleyball, defeating Tyler, Texas in 4 games 26-24, 25-27, 25-12 and 26-24 at the Casper Events Center on Saturday Night. This was the 5th time this season that Blinn has defeated Tyler. Blinn came into the tournament ranked #1 in the country and Tyler was ranked 2nd.

Hillsborough, Florida took 3rd place with a 3 games to 2 win over Salt Lake Community College. Western Nebraska wook 5th by defeating North Idaho 3 games to 2. Iowa Western won the 7th place trophy with a 3 games to one win over Northwest of Powell.  Central Florida took 9th beating the New Mexico Military Academy 3 games to none.
