The Denver Broncos won their 6th straight by beating AFC West rival Kansas City 17-9 on Sunday. Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning threw for 285 yards and 2 touchdowns. Jacob Tamme caught one and Demaryius Thomas caught the other touchdown pass. The Chiefs (1-10) have now lost 8 in a row. The Broncos (8-3) host Tampa Bay (6-5) this Sunday.

The Wyoming Cowboys concluded their football season on Saturday afternoon just like they started, with a loss as they were beaten by San Diego State at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie 42-28. For the third straight game, the Pokes offense looked good in the first half and produced very little in the second half. The Cowboy defense has struggled the entire season and allowed the Aztecs to run the ball for 400 yards, 255 of those from Adam Muema who also had 4 touchdowns. The Cowboys finish at 4-8 and a very disappointing 1-5 at home. San Diego State gets a share of the Mountain West Conference championship going 7-1 in league play and 9-3 overall.

In men's college basketball, the Wyoming Cowboys are now 6-0 after beating Cal Bakersfield at the AA Saturday night 63-49. The Pokes held Bakersfield to 27 percent shooting from the field. The Cowboys were led in scoring by Leonard Washington with 13 points. They'll be at UC-Santa Barbara on Wednesday night.

The Wyoming Cowgirls posted 2 big wins last weekend beating Seton Hall and then Pepperdine in the Pepperdine Tournament. The Cowgirls beat the host school 72-50 on Saturday thanks to 26 points from Kaityln Mileto. The Cowgirls will be at Colorado on Wednesday.

The Casper College men's team posted 3 wins in their Thanksgiving Classic held over the holiday weekend at Erickson Gym. They capped the weekend sweep with a hard fought 79-65 win over Lamar, Colorado on Saturday. The T-Birds (7-2) travel to Western Nebraska in Scottsbluff on Tuesday night with that game on AM 1400 ESPN with Marcus Hayden and Chris Crossen. The Casper College women will be action this weekend when they play in the Air Force Prep Tournament in Colorado Springs. Those games can be heard on AM 1400 ESPN.
