The Denver Broncos improved to 6-5 as they defeated the San Diego Chargers 16-13 in overtime on Sunday afternoon.  Matt Prater's 37-yard field goal with 29-seconds left in the overtime gave the Broncos their fifth win in the last six games.

The Charger's Nick Novak  missed a 53-yarder earlier in the overtime. Quarterback Tim Tebow was 9 of 18 for 143 yards and carried the ball 22 times for 67 yards. The Broncos are 5-1 with Tebow as the starter, and will travel to Minnesota (2-9) to face the Vikings on Sunday.

The Wyoming Cowboys lost to the Boise State Broncos on Saturday 36-14. The Broncos (10-1) and 5-1 in the Mountain West Conference got 279 yards in passing from Kellen Moore, which included a miraculous Hail Mary touchdown pass to end the first half where receiver Matt Miller caught a batted ball on his back right at the goal line. The Cowboy offense really struggled, with just 78 yards passing from Brett Smith who was 17 of 25. The Pokes rushed for 113 yards. Wyoming (7-4) and 4-2 in the conference wraps up the regular season this Saturday at noon at Colorado State.

The Wyoming Cowboy Men's Basketball team went 3 for 3 in the Jim Thorpe Classic in Laramie. The Pokes beat Louisana Tech last night 73-58. Luke Martinez with 20 points to lead the Cowboys. Martinez had 18 points in the Pokes win over Maryland Eastern Shore on Saturday night. Wyoming now 6-1 will host Utah Valley on Wednesday.

The Casper College men went 3 for 3 in their Thanksgiving Classic. The T-Birds won Saturday's game over Lamar, Colorado 84-68 thanks to 17 points from Tyler Larsen. The Birds are 5-2 and will host Laramie Community College on Tuesday night and can be heard on AM 1400 ESPN at 7:30pm.
