C.C. Post 2 Wins Ahead of T-Bird Classic

The Casper College men's basketball team improved to 5-3 on the year with 2 wins on their home court last week at the Erickson Gym. On Friday, the Birds outlasted Otero 91-87 thanks to 27 points from Gerad Davis and 25 points from Warren Dix. Casper rang up 54 points in the 2nd half despite shooting 5-18 from 3 point land for the game. On Saturday, the T-Birds crushed Colorado Northwestern 76-49 with Shea Garland leading the way with 14. A dozen Thunderbird players scored in the game with a strong performance at the free throw line, going 18-22. The annual T-Bird Thanksgiving classic will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Erickson Gym. The Birds will face Lamar on Thursday night at 7:30, then Snow College on Friday at 7:30, followed by a 7:30 tip with Central Wyoming on Saturday night.
