As a young boy, I played little league baseball just like most kids my age. It was awesome. The sun in my eyes, the bat in my hand, the sweat on my brow- it all added up to the world I wanted to be in. The only problem was...I sucked. I was really, really bad. So I decided to become a writer instead. It requires a lot less athletics.

That being said, I still hold a soft spot in my heart for baseball, which is why it was an honor (and a blastie-blast) to be able to participate in Casper Legion Baseball's annual "Casino Night" at The Elks Lodge. Money from the night went to benefit CLB as patrons played Blackjack, Poker, Craps and more. Fake money was used to gamble with, and winners were given incredible prizes. Cash prizes were given away too! It all added up to a very memorable night that benefited a very worthy cause.
