Casper Athletes Shine at Track Classic

The Casper high school had a productive day at the annual Wyoming Track Classic at Kelly Walsh Monday afternoon. The Casper contingent was led by Natrona's Lauren Taubert who won 3 events on this best of the best meet. She took the long jump in 18-.05.75, the 100 hurdles in 15.07 and the 300 hurdles in 44.06. Taubert is a Kansas State signee. Natrona's Molly Olsen won the 800 meters in 2.20.59 and she is normally a longer distance runner. The Natrona boys had 2 champions in the WTC. Kevin Thompson was victorious in the 800 in 1.56.2 while Garrett Condelario took first in the 3200 in 9.56.91. Kelly Walsh's Lamont Frisby had a nice meet with a victory in the 200 with a time of 22.91. Frisby took 2nd in the 100 in 11.09.
