Kicking off a season with 8 straight road games can be daunting for any sports team on any level, and the Casper Ghosts are no exception. Losing to the Ogden Raptors 7-0, The Casper Ghosts will kick off their first home stand of the season tonight with a 2-6 record, hoping to sweep Idaho Falls and get on the positive side of .500. Ghosts Announcer Adam Spolane had this to say in his daily article:

Ogden starter Raydel Sanchez threw six scoreless innings and struck out 11, as the Casper Ghosts were shutout by the Ogden Raptors 7-0, dropping the final three games of the four game series at Lindquist Field.

The teams traded zeroes until the bottom of the third. It started with an infield single by Scott Woodward, who got to third on a double by Enlly Morales. Woodward scored when James Baldwin III reached on an error, making it 1-0, with runners at the corners, and they both scored on a single to right field by Charlie Mirabal making it 3-0 Ogden.
