Casper Grapplers Compete in Douglas

The Natrona County and Kelly Walsh wrestling teams were among the many teams competing in this years Shane Shatto Memorial at Douglas High School Friday and Saturday.  Natrona took a respectable 5th place and Kelly Walsh took 19th. Casper's lone champion was Brett Brenton of Natrona who defeated Ben Emlinger of Buffalo for the 138 pound title. John Gasperetti of NC took 5th at 132, Matt Benardis, another Mustang Wrestler was 6th at 160 pounds, Dylan Jaure from Kelly Walsh took 4th at 170 while Keegan Berry of NC took 3rd in that weight class. Daniel Slack of Natrona rallied for a 4th place finish at 182 pounds with this teammates Trenton Ferguson getting 4th at 220 and heavyweight Bridger helm taking  6th. KW's Gabe Baldwin took 3rd in that heavyweight division.
