Casper H.S. Volleyball Teams Compete in Gillette

The Natrona and Kelly Walsh volleyball teams competed in the Gillette tournament over the weekend with mixed results. Kelly Walsh won all 3 of the pool matches, defeating Sheridan, Big Horn and Douglas. The Trojans did lose to Evanston 2-1 in the gold bracket, 25-23. 20-25 and 25-19. KW's overall record now is 7-2. Natrona was in a very tough pool and went 1-2 which did not qualify them for bracket play. The Fillies defeated Tongue River but lost to Billings Senior and defending state champion Cheyenne East. NC is now 5-3 on the year. Natrona will be at home Friday and Saturday to meet Evanston and Riverton. Kelly Walsh will play host to Riverton and Evanston on Thursday and Friday
