The Casper prep basketball teams played host to the Sweetwater County schools over the weekend with some mixed results. The Natrona girls, ranked #1 in 4A beat Green River on Friday 66-42 thanks to 10 points each from Kristy Dick, Katie Mayhue and Emily Robertson. On Saturday, the Fillies drilled Rock Springs 81-49 with Robertson throwing in 19 and Mayhue chipping in 17. NC is now 13-2 overall

The Kelly Walsh girls lost a tough on Friday, 49-47 in overtime to Rock Springs. Madison Vinich had 12 for the Trojans and Jamia Johnson added 11. On Saturday, KW bounced back to beat Green River 57-37 as Vinich led the way with 18 and Johnson contributed 14. The Lady Trojans are 5-10

The Natrona boys posted a 76-59 win over Green River on Friday with Logan Harbaugh led the Mustangs with 13 and Drew Switzer had 12. On Saturday, NC fell to Rock Springs 61-53 despite 25 from Switzer. The Mustangs are 4-10 on the season.

The Kelly Walsh boys posted 2 wins over the weekend. They beat Rock Springs 61-59 with Jaxon Hiatt throwing in 21 and Sam Marsh adding 17. On Saturday. the Trojans dominated Green River 67-42 with March turning in another great game with 23 points. KW is 8-7 overall and the Peach Basket Classic between the Casper schools will be at Casper College on Thursday.
