Over the weekend the 20th Annual Casper Mountain Sled Races were held in Beartrap Meadow.

Teams and handlers from all over came to Casper to participate and race the various courses.  The Casper Mountain Sled Dog Race were started back in 1995.

Pam and Floyd Dunn began the Casper Mountain Sled Dog Races 20 years ago and had just nine mushers at their first race.  In 2014, 65 mushers participated on the mountain and came to race from a multitude of states.

2015 was a great year on the mountain as the weather and mother nature cooperated by gave us a small blast of snow in the nick of time and then followed it up by giving us great weather conditions to race.

The Casper Mountain Sled Dog Races is a family friendly event that is challenging to all that participate. The goal has always been to provide enjoyment for everyone involved and we certainly hope that everyone had a blast on the mountain this year as well!
