The season came to an end for the Kelly Walsh boys and girls soccer teams as well as the Natrona boys at the 4A State Tournament in Sheridan over the weekend. The Kelly Walsh boys won their first round game on Thursday with a shoot-out win over Gillette. Ryan McMullen scored the go ahead goal in that match for the Trojans. KW did lose their semi-final match to Cheyenne Central on Friday 3-0 as Central's Ross Elliot scored twice which put the Trojans in the 3rd place match. KW showed a lot of fortitude on Saturday with a 1-0 shoot-out win over Green River, with 16 shooters in that shoot-out. The Trojans finished the season at 10-6-2 The Natrona boys ended up taking 5th at state with a very inspired performance over 3 days. On Thursday, the Mustangs nearly upset a #1 seed in Cheyenne East 2-1 as the Indians scored a goal in the final minute of overtime. Johann Reyes tallied NC's only goal in that match. On Friday, NC dominated Gillette 4-2 with Danny Diaz scoring in the 17th minute, Nic Gindullis in the 27th, Joey Antonovich in the 40th and Reegan Chadderdon in the 51st.  Natrona prevailed over Laramie on Saturday 2-1 in the consolation championship thanks to goals from Reyes in the 37th minute and Chadderdon in the 38th. The Mustangs finished the season 9-10-1 The Kelly Walsh girls found life tough at the state tournament going two and out. In Thursday's quarterfinal round match, the Lady Trojans lost to Cheyenne East. Jessie Erickson and Ashlee Rotert were the goal scorers for the Indians. In Friday's loser out match, Rock Springs scored the first 3 goals and KW scored the final 2 in a 3-2 win for the Tigers. The Lady Trojans wrapped up the season at 12-6
