The Casper high school track teams will have some momentum heading into the state meet that will start on Thursday in Casper thanks to some strong performances in the 4A West regional meet in Green River over the weekend.  Natrona's Lauren Taubert won 4 events at the regional meet, the 200, the 100 and 300 hurdles along with the long jump. Kaitlyn Barnes was a 2 event winner with victories in the 400 and the triple jump. NC's Molly Olsen was a double winner as she took the 800 and the 1600. Natrona easily outdistanced the field in the team standings with a whopping 251 points. For the boys, Kelly Walsh captured the team championship thanks to Lamont Frisby who won the 100 and the 200. Trey Jennings took 1st in the pole vault and the Trojans also won the 4x100 meter relay. KW amassed 184 points in that regional meet with the huge state meet starting on Thursday morning at the Harry Geldien Stadium
