The Kelly Walsh and Natrona County track teams enjoyed a great deal of success at the 4A West regional meet in Rock Springs over the weekend. The Kelly Walsh girls took first place thanks in part to a first place finish by Grace Czellecz in the 100 meter dash. Madison Dedic also gave the Lady Trojans a regional championship in the shot put. The Natrona girls took 2nd place in that regional meet as Molly Olson won the 1600 and the 3200 meters race. Hannah Dunbar took the tape in the 200 with Kristy Dick placing first in the shot put.

On the boys side, Kelly Walsh finished 2nd at the regional meet with Lamont Frisby winning the 100 and 200 meter dashes. Caige McComb was a 2 event winner for the Trojans with victories in the 110 hurdles and the 300 hurdles. Kyle Bacon was the winner in the shot put. The Natrona boys took 3rd in the meet with Garrett Condolario winning 2 events, the 1600 and the 3200. Hunter Brown won the long jump and the triple jump.

The State Track Meet will start on Thursday at the Harry Geldein Stadium in Casper and run through Saturday
