The Natrona and Kelly Walsh track teams turned in some strong performances in the Gary Benson Border War Meet in Sheridan on Tuesday. On the boys side, Lamont Frisby of Kelly Walsh won the 100 meters in 11.16. Caige McComb of KW took 1st in the 110 hurdles with a winning time of 15.13. Natrona's Brett Norvelle has been solid in the high jump all year along and goes 6-2 to edge Sage Coventry of Kelly Walsh. NC's Brennan Hagar went 42-11.5 to win the triple jump as the Mustangs went 1-2-3 in that event. Natrona took 3rd in the Sheridan meet and Kelly Walsh was 4th.

On the girls side, Hannah Dunbar of Natrona took first in the 100 meter dash in 12.63. Her teammate, Molly Olsen won the 1600 in 5.13.22. She is the defending 4A state champion in that event. KW's Corin Carruth  went 5 feet even to win the high jump. KW's Maddison Dedic took first in the shot put with a toss of 39 feet 1-50. The Lady Trojans took 4th in the Sheridan meet with Natrona 6th.
