Central Wyoming Rodeo-Daily Sports Update

The PRCA Rodeo continues tonight at the Central Wyoming Fair. Last night, Steven Dent from Texas picked up first place in the bareback with an 82. Jake Wright from Utah won the night's performance in the saddle bronc with an 82. Missouri cowboy Friday Wright with an 82 in bull riding. The rodeo continues tonight with performance at 7:30pm.

In American Legion baseball, the Casper Oilers evened their conference record Wednesday night with a 8-7 win over Gillette. Dan Reese with a homer and 3 RBI's for Casper who stand at 29-26 overall and 1-1 in conference play. The Oilers will host the Mike Devereaux starting this afternoon at Mike Lansing Field. The Oilers will play on Friday and Saturday.

The Casper Cutthroats collegiate team will be in Laramie tonight after a couple of days off. The Cutthroats are 16-13 on the season after a couple of losses to Cheyenne on the road earlier in the year.

The Colorado Rockies resume their season tonight after the all-star break when they host Philadelphia starting tonight at Coors Field. The Rockies are 33-52 and sit in last place in the National League West Division.
