The Central Wyoming Rodeo concluded on Saturday at the Fairgrounds with a couple of in state products crowned as Champions. In the bull riding, Bobby Welch of Gillette won the average with 173 on 2. So he won over $1400 for winning the first round, over $1900 for winning the 2nd round and $1943 for winning the average. Kassidy Kruse, a 19 year old from Gillette was victorious in the barrel racing. She won the average with 34.28 on 2, so that earned her $3113. She won $3113 for winning the first round, plus $1318 for winning the 2nd round. Here's a rundown of the other champs in the Casper Rodeo, Jake Brown from Hillsboro, Texas won the bareback. Sterling Crawley of Stephenville, Texas took 1st in the saddle bronc. Oklahoma cowboy Tommy Cook was first in the steer wrestling. The Tie down roping was won by Louisiana cowboy Marshall Leonard. David Key and Martin Lucero of Stephenville, Texas took the top honors in the team roping.
