The State High school wrestling tournament wrapped up on Saturday night with Gillette winning their 13th state title in a row. Powell 4 peated in 3A and Moorcroft 3 repeated in 2A. Gillette nipped Green River 249.5 to 232.5 thanks in part to Jordan Fischer who won his 3rd state title. Tevis Bartlett of Cheyenne East won his 4th consecutive state title with a pin at 195 pounds. He is just one of 16 guys to win 4 state championships. Powell edged both Douglas and Star Valley 227-202.5. Moorcroft looked strong again winning the 2A title, outdistancing Cokeville 276-163.5. Cokeville's James Teichert joined some elite company winning his 4th state title.
