Championship Bullriding Comes to Casper

The Casper Events Center played host to the Championship Bull Riders circuit on Friday and Saturday night. The CBR brought their Horizon series to town and these guys are trying to earn enough points to join the regular CBR televised series. Several Wyoming natives have competed in the CBR including Kanin Asay from Powell who is currently 5th in the standings and Buskin Wilson of Jackson who is 17th. At the Events Center on Saturday, Ruger Piva from Challis, Idaho won the average with 154.5 on 2. He is currently 3rd in the CBR Horizon standings. Tyler Hessman from Beaver, Oklahoma took 2nd in the average with an 83 on 2 and Hawk Whitt from Thermopolis was 3rd in the average with an 81. Ezekial Mora out of Wiggins, Colorado was 4th and Florida cowboy John Pitts was 5th. The Panama City native is 2nd in the CBR Horizon standings.
