The Casper Coyotes junior hockey team has named David Cole as their new head coach. Cole is a familiar name in Casper hockey circles thanks to a 3 run as head coach of the old Central Wyoming Outlaws back in the mid 1990's. For the last 3 years. Cole was the head coach of the Southern Oregon Spartans of the Western States Hockey League who were 33-15-4 this past season. His 3 record with that franchise was 100-44-6. Cole started his coaching career in Canada in 1984 and prior to taking the Southern Oregon job, he was a consultant for the Hockey Group Agency.

Cole replaced Jon Ambrefe who resigned and subsequently took the head coaching position with the WSHL's Springfield, Mo. Express
