In a contest held as part of SDSU’s Midnight Madness, Craig Horlbeck — the free-throwing-prodigy – sunk a half court shot hitting nothing but net. The only downside to the night might have been all of the subsequent paperwork needed to be filled out in order to get his prize, a brand new Toyota Tacoma.

In an interview with CBS, Horlbeck mentioned the best part wasn’t the truck or the shot itself — which resulted in the roof blowing off the place — it was meeting legendary Aztecs head coach, Steve Fisher, who had mentioned that perhaps there’d be a spot for the young shooter in the coming season.

Until that happens — if it does — there’s no doubt that the recognition coming from all ends is enough to make Horlbeck’s Fall semester a damn good one.
