For the first time in her career, Wyoming senior Courtney Chacon was selected at the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week in volleyball.

The senior had a season-high 40 assists in the Cowgirls three-set sweep at Utah State last Saturday. Chacon was one dig away from her team-leading fourth double-double of the season. She tied a season-high with four kills and had the second-best hitting percentage at .429.

Chacon has climbed to sixth on the all-time assists list in Wyoming volleyball history. She has 2,792 for her career. This season, Chacon has recorded 30 or more assists in seven of the Cowgirls' 16 matches.

This is the second weekly accolade for Wyoming volleyball this year. Sophomore Reed Copeland received Defensive Player of the Week honors last week.
