For a third consecutive season, the Wyoming Cowboys will play in the College Basketball Invitational (CBI). The Pokes accepted a bid to play in the post-season tournament Sunday night.

Wyoming will play at Texas A&M on Wednesday, March 19 at 6 p.m., Mountain Time. The game will be at Reed Arena in College Station, Texas.

The Cowboys are 18-14 this season, while the Aggies sport a 17-15 record.

Wyoming makes its fourth appearance in the CBI. They lost in the first round in 2009, but advanced to the quarterfinals in each of the last two seasons. Last year, UW defeated Lehigh before they fell to Western Michigan.

The Cowboys have now advanced to a post-season tournament in each of head coach Larry Shyatt's four seasons.

One other team from the Mountain West Conference is in this year's field. It's the Fresno State Bulldogs, and they play at UTEP on Wednesday, as well.

The CBI is a 16-team post-season tournament in its seventh year. It's single elimination until a best-of-three Championship series between the final two teams. That series will begin on March 31.
