Cowboys Close Out Season Saturday Against San Diego State-Daily Sports Update

The Wyoming Cowboys close out the season Saturday afternoon when they host San Diego State at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie. The Pokes winners of 3 in a row and 4-7 face an Aztec team that is battling for a piece of the Mountain West Conference title. San Diego State  is currently at  6-1 in the conference and  tied with Boise State and Fresno State, and 8-3 overall. Kick off is at 1:30pm on AM 1030 KTWO.

The Wyoming Cowboy men’s basketball team plays host to Cal Bakersfield Saturday night at the AA at 7:00pm. The Pokes are 5-0 after a win over Northern Colorado 69-60 in Greeley earlier in the week. Saturday’s game will be on AM 1030 KTWO.

The Wyoming Cowgirls play in the Pepperdine Basketball Tournament starting today in Malibu, California. The Cowgirls 2-0 on the season and will take on Seton Hall. UW will play Pepperdine or South Dakota tomorrow.

The Casper College men’s basketball team picked up a big win on the opening night of the T-Bird Thanksgiving Classic Thursday night at Erickson Gym. Casper took care of business over Raleigh Sports Academy of Oklahoma City 123-76. The T-Birds were led in scoring by Remi Debo with 21 points and Johnathon Blythers with 15. The T-Birds will meet Cloud County, Kansas tonight at 7:30pm and Lamar, Colorado Saturday evening at 5:00pm, with both games on AM 1400 ESPN.

Thanksgiving NFL games saw Houston get by Detroit 34-31 in overtime as the Texans go to 10-1 on the season. Washington held on to beat Dallas 38-31 after leading at halftime 28-3. and New England had no problem with the New York Jets 49-14 Thursday night.
