Cowboys Enter MWC Tournament as #7 Seed

The Wyoming Cowboy basketball team will be the #7 seed at this week's Mountain West Tournament in Las Vegas and will take in #10 Air Force on Wednesday afternoon at 12:30. The Pokes are 18-13 overall and 8-10 in Mountain West play after a 68-59 win over San Jose State in Laramie on Saturday. The Air Force comes in at 4-14 in league play and 11-20 overall. If the Cowboys beat the Falcons, that would set up another game against arch-rival Colorado State on Thursday at 5pm. UW has lost to CSU twice this season and the Rams are the #2 in the tournament. Nevada earned the #1 seed with an overall record of 25-6 and a 14-4 league mark.
