The first game in the 2016 college football season for the Wyoming Cowboys to be moved due to TV has been announced.

Wyoming’s game at Eastern Michigan has been switched to Friday, September 23 at 5:30 p.m., Mountain Time. It will be televised on CBS Sports Network (CBSSN).

This is the first game during the upcoming season to have a kick-off time and TV network announced.

It also marks the third consecutive season the Cowboys will play a game on a Friday night. The previous two were against Utah State. The rest of the kick-off times and TV games will be announced at a later time.

The Mountain West Conference released its Friday night national telecast schedule for the 2016 season Monday.

There are 10 games on this initial TV schedule release. One is a Thursday night game, while the other nine are Friday night telecasts.
