It's been a tough couple of weeks for the Wyoming Cowboys, coaches and fans, as UW has lost their first two games of the 2015 college football season.

Wyoming is 0-2 for only the second time in the last 13 seasons. The last time was in 2012. They've lost five straight home games for the first time since 2001.

In the opener, the Cowboys threw the ball effectively for 301 yards, but couldn't find a ground attack with only 29. Last game, the Pokes ran all over the opposition with 430 yards, but after an injury to quarterback Josh Allen, the air attack was non-existent, as they finished with 32 yards.

Head football coach Craig Bohl was pleased to see the improvement up front for UW and in their overall run game.

Wyoming's trying to find the right balance, as they head on the road for the first time this season.

A major issue has been the Cowboys defense, or perhaps, lack there of. UW has surrendered 429 and 506 yards of offense in their losses.

Bohl knows there's been too many big plays and missed tackles. He's not singling out any one unit or player; just overall concern.

With a roster full of youth, Bohl was asked about possibly losing this squad so early in the season.

Saturday's game at Washington State will kick-off at 6:30 p.m., Mountain Time.
