The Wyoming Cowboys improved to 5-1 in Mountain West Conference play and 16-3 overall with a triple overtime win over Fresno State on Saturday night 70-65. The Pokes at times were willing and able to let Fresno State win the game as the Bulldogs tied the game late in regulation and the first overtime. Larry Nance Jr. missed 2 free throws with .5 seconds to go at the end of the 2nd overtime that would have won it or the Cowboys. UW outscored Fresno State 9-4 in the 3rd overtime. Nance finished with 21 points with Josh Adams throwing in 16. The Cowboys will host New Mexico on Saturday in Laramie.
