The Wyoming Cowboys are on the road tonight in the Mountain West Conference as they play at Fresno State. The Pokes are 14-1 overall and 1-1 in conference play. The Bulldogs are 6-9 overall and 0-2 in the Mountain West. 8:00pm tip-off tonight on AM 1030 KTWO.

Cowboy basketball player Luke Martinez made his initial court appearance on Tuesday in Laramie following his arrest after an altercation outside a Laramie Bar on December 30th. Martinez has been charged with aggravated assault which is a felony. Police affidavits allege that Martinez kicked an unconscious man in the head with a running start. Martinez has been indefinitely suspended from the team and was the Cowboys 2nd leading scorer averaging 14 points a game.

The Wyoming Cowgirls will be at home tonight to meet Fresno State. Fresno State comes in as the top team in the Mountain West Conference, as they were the only team to win both games in the open week of conference play. The Cowgirls are 12-3 overall and 1-1 in the conference after splitting with Boise State and Nevada last week. Fresno State comes in at 10-5 overall and 2-0 in the conference.

The Casper College teams are on the road tonight at Little Big Horn College in Montana. The T-Bird men are 14-3 on the season. Little Big Horn is 5-13. On the women's side, The Lady T-Birds are 15-2 and Little Big Horn is 2-16. The T-Birds return home Saturday for a doubleheader match up with Gillette College.

A couple of hirings in the NFL in the last day. The San Diego Chargers have hired Denver Offensive Cordinator Mike McCoy as their new head coach. And the Philadelphia Eagles have hired Oregon coach Chip Kelly after Kelly had said that he would remain at Oregon.
