The Wyoming Cowboy basketball team opened the 2014-2015 season with a 78-70 win in the renovated Arena-Auditorium on Sunday afternoon. All 5 Cowboy starters were in double figures led by Larry Nance Jr. with 21 points along with 8 rebounds. Nance was playing in his first game since blowing out his knee last season. He played 35 minutes and was 8-13 from the field. Josh Adams contributed 14 and Riley Grabau chipped in 13. The Pokes will play Western State on Tuesday in Laramie.
