The Wyoming Cowboys managed to get by the Air Force Academy on Saturday Night in Laramie thanks to a 3 yard touchdown catch by J.D. Krill with :58 to go in the game. Quarterback Colby Kirkegaard compleyed 6 of 7 passes on the last scoring drive, the big one, a 25 yard strike to Tanner Gentry with 3:25 to go.

Kirkegaard turned a much better effort compared to the Montana game, going 23-27 for 282 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Cowboy running game took a big step backward, accumulating just 51 yards on 26 carries. But the Cowboy defense made just enough plays to win with Jordan Stanton and Devyn Harris recording 13 tackles each. The Pokes are 2-0 on the year and will visit #3 Oregon on Saturday.
