The Wyoming Cowboy football team looked a big better as opposed to the first 2 games but still remain winless this season following a 31-14 loss to Washington State on Saturday in Pullman. Three times in the 2nd half, the Pokes had the ball in Cougar territory and failed to come up with any points. UW trailed by 4 at halftime and went scoreless through the 2nd half. At the same time, Washington State put up 10 2nd half points to put the game away. WSU had 303 yards passing and Wyoming threw the ball for 296. Running back Brian Hill had 145 yards rushing but football is not about yards, its about points and UW missed several golden opportunities. The Cowboys 0-3 on the year and will start Mountain West Conference on Saturday hosting New Mexico.
