Cowboys With Little Luck in Vegas
The Wyoming Cowboys lost to UNLV for the 15th straight time in a regular season game as the Rebels dropped the Pokes 79-74 on Saturday. Josh Adams had another terrific game for UW with 31 points and that included 7, 3 pointers. Torrington Jason McManamen chipped in 19 but the Cowboys received very little from anybody else. UNLV had 4 players in double figures, led by Derrick Jones Jr. with 23. The Pokes are now a pedestrian 13-17 overall and 6-11 in Mountain West play and will wrap up the regular season on Wednesday in Laramie taking on San Jose State.
