Cowgirls Break 2 Game Losing Streak
The Wyoming Cowgirl basketball team posted a road breakthrough on Wednesday afternoon with a 75-64 win over Denver University. Marquelle Dent, a pre season all Mountain West Conference selection led the Cowgirls with 21 points and 10 assists. Newcomer Marta Gomez had 17 points and Gillette native Jordan Kelley had 13. UW is now 4-3 on the year after road losses to Gonzaga and Idaho last week and will host Montana in Laramie on Saturday.
