The Casper Coyotes junior hockey team ended their regular season home schedule with 2 losses in 3 games to the Ogden Mustangs over the weekend. On Friday, the Coyotes lost 4-3 in overtime as they allowed a goal in the final seconds of regulation. On Saturday, Casper came up with a much better effort in a 5-2 win with goals from Viktor Thim, Tim Friberg, Dom Naas, Martins Vitolins and Erik Stenbacka. On Sunday afternoon, it was a penalty filled game with 31 infractions and the end result was an overtime loss for the Coyotes 6-5 despite a hat trick from Dmytro Babenko. Casper is now 33-8-2 and will have a 3 game road series against the Superior Roughriders starting on Friday.
