The Casper Coyotes junior hockey team improved to 8-3 on the year with 2 wins over the Cheyenne Stampede over the weekend at the Ice Arena. Back on Friday. the Coyotes defeated Cheyenne 4-2, thanks to goals from Chris Lugg, Wyatt Stotts, Kasper Elo and Brady Griffin. On Saturday. the Coyotes beat the Stampede 3-1 as Brady Griffin, Eric Stembacka and Austin Parish tallying goals. The Coyotes are in first place in the Mountain Division of the Western States Hockey League and will meet 2nd place Ogden for a 2 game road series this Friday and Saturday.
