Did the New York Mets' pitcher Noah Syndergaard take it too far? The first pitch of the World Series Game 3, Syndergaad threw a 98 MPH fast ball at Kansas City Royals Alcides Escobar's head. After the game, Syndergaard admitted that the pitch was intentional in order to set the tone of the game. He didn't want to hit Escobar, but didn't want the Royals to get to comfortable.

Now no one was bringing out a Lazy-Boy for Escobar or baking him cookies. And being this is the World Series, we want competition. This is the best of the best where the world is watching. But where is the line between competition and unsportsmanlike conduct? What will be the reaction of the Royals moving forward now that Syndergaard admitted the pitch was intentional. What does this show our kids about the big league? What do you think?
