UNDATED (AP) — Indianapolis police have arrested Jacksonville wide receiver Tandon Doss on a disorderly conduct charge, but he will not be prosecuted.

A police report says the 24-year-old Doss was "out of control" and arrested during a disturbance with another man Wednesday afternoon. The report provided no additional details on the incident.

— Jacksonville has released veteran linebacker Russell Allen after he failed his physical. Allen started 29 games the past two seasons, but missed the final two games last year with a concussion.

— Former NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb was released from an Arizona jail after serving a one-day sentence for a DUI arrest late last December. Records released by West Mesa Justice Court show the 37-year-old McNabb served his time Wednesday and was released Thursday.

— Former NFL All-Pro safety Darren Sharper has lost his bid to be released on bail in a sexual assault case after an Arizona judge decided there's enough evidence to move forward with charges against him.

MONTREAL (AP) — Former NFL receiver Chad Johnson is heading to the Canadian Football League. The 36-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the Montreal Alouettes. The former Pro Bowler last appeared in an NFL game during the 2011 season with New England. Johnson, who once changed his last name to Ochocinco (oh-choh-SINK'-oh), is 30th on the NFL's all-time receiving list with 11,059 yards.
