The Kelly Walsh Trojans could not overcome a sluggish offensive performance and lost to Cheyenne East at Okie Blanchard Stadium on Friday 27-12. The Trojans had plenty of opportunities in the 4th quarter but failed to convert, even after forcing 3 turnovers. Cheyenne East did not have the services of all state quarterback Tevis Bartlett who was held out of the game due to illness. The Thunderbirds did display a power running game as they improved to 3-2. KW now 2-3 on the year and will host Natrona in the 50th annual Oil Bowl on Friday night.
