Down by a score of 6-0, the Casper Ghosts had just started mounting a comeback before Mother Nature took over. After a lengthy rain delay, officials called the game at the end of the 6th, giving the Casper Ghosts another close loss as they were only able to come within 2, finishing the game with a 6-4 loss. Announcer Adam Spolane had this to say in his daily article:

The Ghosts fell into a 6-0 early deficit on Wednesday night against the Idaho Falls Chukars, but a rain delay cut their comeback bid short, as they lost 6-4 in five innings at Mike Lansing Field

The Ghosts added a run in the sixth, but then the rain came. After a 30 minute delay, the game was called, giving Idaho Falls the win, and handing the Ghosts their 5th straight loss, dropping them to 2-8.

The Ghosts and Chukars will continue their 4-game series tomorrow night. First pitch is set for 7:05. Alving Mejias toes the rubber for the Ghosts opposite Jonathan Dooley.
