Good Weekend For T-Bird Basketball

The Casper College Men's and Women's Basketball teams opened up with wins at home this past Friday and Saturday at Erickson Gym.The men defeated Northeastern Junior College Saturday night 94-65. Remi Dibo led the 14th ranked T-Birds with 26 points. Dibo was one of four that were in double figures. Tyler Larsen added 19 with Denzel Douglas,  13 and Cobi Eskew (Kelly Walsh) with 11.

On Friday night the T-Bird men opened the season with a 88-64 win over the Wyoming All-Stars. Dibo  led Casper with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Darious Curry had 12 points to pace the T-Birds. They hit the road for the first time and play at Salt Lake Community College on the 18th.

The T-Brid women opened up the season on Friday with a 87-43 win over Fort Carson College. Rosalie Cutri led Casper with 16 points and 7-rebonds. Kaynesha Zint had 11 points, 6 rebounds and 3-steals. KeArrow Jenkins 11, Bailey Holland and Danyelle Minchow with 10 for the T-Birds.

And on Saturday the T-Birds defeated the College Alumni 81-41. Shelby Garska (Natrona) led Casper with 11 points along with Madra Gulbe with 10-points . The T-Birds will also hit the road with games this weekend at Northeastern JC Friday night and the Colorado All-Stars Saturday afternoon.
