The Casper high school basketball teams were quite busy over the weekend with home games Friday and Saturday. On Friday, The Natrona boys defeated Evanston 66-48 with Pete Bergman throwing in 21 for the Mustangs. The Kelly Walsh boys prevailed over Riverton on Friday night 73-61 with Ethan Applegate leading the Trojans with 23.

The Natrona Girls started out the weekend with a 66-48 victory over Evanston and the Kelly Walsh girls beating Riverton 53-47 with Sophia Hof pouring in 15 points for the Lady Trojans.

 

On Saturday, the NC boys beat Riverton 57-35 so the Mustangs improved to 7-6 overall and 3-0 in the 4A west. The KW boys blew a 9 point lead and lost to Evanston in overtime 52-48. So KW is 8-4 and 1-2 in conference play.

 

The NC girls made it 2-2 for the weekend with a 65-49 win over Riverton as Abby Switzer led the way with 17. The Fillies are 8-5 overall and 3-0 in the league. The KW girls kept pace with a 64-50 win over Evanston on Saturday to improve to 6-6 overall and 2-1 in league play.
