High Plains Nordic Team Announced

Nine Casper high school Nordic skiers were named to the Wyoming teams that will compete in the U.S.S.A. Junior Olympics in Telemark, Wisconsin later on this year. For the boys, Jake Pearson from Kelly Walsh made the team as well as Christian Bjorklund, Adam Pickett, Trevor Johnson, Braxton Devore and Lane Meyers from Natrona. On the girls side, Taylor Bright from Kelly Walsh was named to the team as well as Kit Kat Gruner, Maddy Tinker and Rylie Garner from Natrona. Hanna Hall from KW is the U 18/20 alternate and Morgan Harshman from NC is the U16 alternate.  The Casper teams just competed in a huge Nordic event at Soldier Hollow in Utah last weekend, that featured 700 athletes from over 50 teams.
